Our carbon steel wok has been pre-seasoned, eliminating the need for complicated preparation steps. This wok is not intended for long-term storage of corrosive substances. To maintain its non-stick surface, hand wash the wok using cleaning sponges, dry it thoroughly, and apply a light coating of oil. Avoid washing the wok in the dishwasher or using stainless steel sponges.

Carbon steel is the optimal material for woks, as it develops a natural non-stick surface through seasoning. Our wok is free of any chemical coatings and has been pre-seasoned at high temperatures exceeding 1000°F using nitrogen treatment, resulting in excellent wear resistance, fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature tolerance.

The large wok pan quickly responds to heat adjustments and is designed to lock in the juices and flavors of the ingredients. Its greater curve and higher walls ensure that heat is evenly distributed, with less concentration on the flat bottom. The broader base and high curvature allow the burner flames to hug the wok, maximizing the area of heat transfer.
